All Other Information: I was adopted in Denver, Colorado. I was adopted through a Jewish adoption agency named Jewish Family Connection Through Adoption. Both birth parents were 18 years of age. Birth mother's family owned alarge electrical or lighting supply store in Denver. Birthmother graduated early from HS, and was a member of several Jewish civic youth organizations, one of them being Young Hadassah. She excelled in academics and art, as well as dance and theatre. Less is known about my birth father- he was an athlete, and was light haired and had green or hazel eyes and was over six feet tall. My birth mother was small, with dark hair and eyes, and overweight. I am five feet eight inches tall, with dark brown wavy hair and hazel eyes, and have light olive skin and lots of freckles. I have a distinctively Semitic face with a very pronounced large nose, which all of my three boys have inherited, as well as large deep set eyes. I am assuming that both birth parents are still alive, and place their ages at around 63 years. I have Crohn's disease- a genetic bowel disease that strikes people of Eastern European Jewish descent. Any help would be gratefully accepted, as my adoptive family has not been able to provide much in the way of answers.

All Other Information: I have my birth mother's family to thank for the information regarding my father-My birth mother was unstable and gave many different stories to many different people regarding my paternity-she was not forthcoming with his identity and the fact is that she may not have known who he was herself-my grandmother seems to think it may have been someone named Ettinger from Maryland when she made a trip there at 18. Ray Klein is listed as my birth father, but he has not been researched yet. Tami Murphy, search angel, made contact with him in 5-?-2010 and he was the key in finding Phyllis R. Kellner-Wucher. Phyllis, my birth mother, had falsified her last name to Keller by omitting the letter n in Kellner, changing it to Keller. Ray Klein admitted to knowing her in school, but did not reveal anything else to Tami at that time. I would like to resume the search for my birth father. It is not nearly as important now as it was to find my birth mother's family, but I would like to know who he was/is. Due to the fact that my grandmother iis aged, please do not press the Kellner family for information-they have no more to give regarding my birth father. They emigrated to Israel in the late 60's and are unavailable for the most part. They have no more information regarding my paternity than I do- Ray Klein out of Miami Lakes, Florida, will be of more use than anyone-he may even be my father after all. Tami was going to do further research regarding his relationship with my birth mother. He is married and has a family. I just want to rule out the possibility he is my birth father, and leave no stone unturned. He was, after all, the key to finding Phyllis R. Kellner-Wucher, my birth mother.

All Other Information: More than 20 years ago, my adoptive mother showed me a letter from the Children's Home (Florence Crittenden according to my adoptive Aunt) that outlines some information about my birth family. My adoptive father recently located the letter and sent it to me. My adoptive mother was also adopted, and she found her biological sister when she was in her forties. It was a very emotional reunion, and I hope that if I should find my birth mother and her family that I am as lucky as my adoptive mother was. The letter indicates that my birth mother was 20, had four siblings all younger than her. She worked as a waitress to put herself through beauty school. Rather than try to paraphrase, the letter states: "Dear Mr. and Mrs. Evers Our baby was born a girl on Sunday 4-1-1962, weight 8 lbs 10 oz and appears to be normal and healthy. I have tentative plans to go for her Monday the 9th. Here is her history: Her mother is a young woman aged 20, mostly of German descent, a protestant, Graduated from high school and beauty school. She worked as a waitress to earn her way through beauty school. She has good health, wears glasses for nearsightedness. She is about 5'5" tall, weighs about 130 lbs, ahs dark brown wavy hair, hazel eyes. She is nice looking except that she has rather prominent teeth and a large mouth. Her (the mother's) father is living aged 45. He is a ranch hand for a big rancher. He went to high school. He has very poor hearing due to an accident in cildhood. He is 6'1" tall, slender, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Her mother is living aged 42. She had a high school education and has good health. She is 5'5: of average build, with black hair and brown eyes. She is a twin. The couple have four other children: A boy aged 19 who is a student at the university. He is a brilliant boy and won a scholarship. He has good health and wears glasses. He plays in the college band. A boy aged 18 who is a Junior in high school and is a good student and has good health. A girl aged 5 at home. The Paternal grandfather is living, the paternal grandmother died young. The maternal grandfather is living aged 84. The maternal grandmother died aged 70. There is no history of TB, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, allergy, or malformations. The father's "hard of hear" is the only instance of ear trouble. The girl (mother) named the father of the baby, a young man about 23. She knew little about him. He appeared to be American, probably had a high school education. He was in the navy, is a mechanic, his interest is driving cars in the stock car races. He is about 6'3" slender with brown hair. As far as we know his health was OK. He has a father living who probably is a farmer. His mother died about 10 years ago. He has at least two brothers, one is air force and one in the navy. He left before the mother knew of her pregnancy so he was never told about it. I am sorry that we do not have complete family information about him. They were given 2 different forms about them, the legal sized form is all the info above and the other is on a long green piece of paper with the following typed on it. Birth father age 22, height, 6ft, weight 180, dark brown hair, green eyes, medium complexion he was athletic. Birth mother age 18, height 5' 4 1/2", weight 120, light brown hair, blue eyes, very fair complexion, athletic, protestant. Baby girl born 5-31-1963 weight 6lb 70z. I also have birth certificate that is black in color with all white writing at the bottem of it, it says I hereby certify that the above is a true, full and correct copy of the original certificate in my custody and now on file in my office. Witness my hand and official seal at Denver in said State this 3rd day of Oct a.d. 1963. Rl Cleere, MD under that line is director of state department of public health, then a name is signed that looks to be Florence Echrarsh or Ecmarsh (cant tell) and under that name it says deputy state director of vital statictics.On both birth certificates it list the hospital as hospital. I know florence critton from the paperwork. The Elbert District Court at po box 232 Kiowa Co 80117, sent a speed letter to my adoptive parents in 1988 telling them that the adoption file does not indicate any health information on the natural parents. It is signed by Jean Nightingale. (Update) My birth father installed swimming pools. Usual residence of mother Utah = Salt Lake was the county Date signed on the original is 6-3-1963 and the date received 6-12-1963.

All Other Information: In appromiately 6-?-1966, my mother took me from Wichita, KS (my home) to the Salvation Army Booth Memorial Hospital in Denver, CO as I was pregnant and not married. At this time (the 60's), it was more than just a sin to be pregnant and unmarried! I was just 18 at the time with no skills and no where to go so followed my mother's instructions. My mother arranged for me to work at a private home as a nanny to help pay for the expenses of the home and birth. I had a normal pregnancy and birth in late 10-?-1966. I do not remember many details for many reasons that a wonderful therapist is now helping me sort out. I have Always wanted to to find Christopher (my son) but never tried for many reasons - mostly not wanting to hurt him or disrupt his life. When I gave birth, they laid him on my tummy for a very short period or took him away. I was not allowed to see him for several days and then only through the glass of the nursey window. All the while, my brain was churning on "how can I change this mess and run away with him?" But I had to monetary means or emotional means (at that time) to care for him properly and I loved him Deeply. I would not leave the hospital until I was assured his adoptive parents would take him home the same day I left. I signed a closed adoption (per my mother's instruction) in a Denver Court house. I don't remember the day just that it was blustery cold and after a huge snowfall. I don't know the name of the adoption agency as Booth Memorial made all the arrangements and the respresentative picked up at the hospital, took me to court and brought me back. I left for home that very afternoon after a stop at the window to pray for a wonderful future for my son. The birth certificate did not show Christopher's fathers name. I was too ashamed of all the circumstances surrounding the conception! It shows only 'unknown'. But his father's name is Harold Morris Lowe who at the time lived in Tulsa, OK and was a war veteran. He has since passed on 1-4-2000 at the age of 59, cause of death is unknown to me. He passed in Delaware, Nowata County, OK and had a wife, Lois Louise, and I believe 2 daughters at the time. After I told him I could not marry him (for many many reasons I will explain to only Christopher) he never sought to contact me again so probably never knew he had a son. I will always regret that My husband of 42 years knows all about the conception and birth and this search and is actively helping me. So if I am not available when contacted, John will be and has my permission to give and receive information. I know that Christopher possibly does not know he is adopted is adopted or may not want to see me. That is OK. My attempt is not to dissrupt his life but I need to know that he was loved, taken care, like I could not do at the time, and I would love for him to know that his "mom" loved him deeply at the time and that love has only deepend over the years. He has 3 half-sister's and a half-brother and some day he may want to know that. Also, my family certainly had the gift of music and I would love to know if he also has that. There are many health issues on my side of the family (not sure about his paternal side) that might be of interest for him to know. If we locate him, I love him so very much I will respect whatever decision he makes as to whether he wants to contact me or not. Thank you so very much for your assistance!. (Update) I now know that he was born on 10-28-1966 at 5:24pm. He weighed 7lbs, 13.5oz and was 19.5 inches in length. He was born at Booth Memorial Hospital in Denver, CO. The adoption agency who handled his adoption is currently called CDHS (Colorado Dept of Human Services) Division of Child Welfare. The last day Christopher was at Booth Memorial was 11-10-1966 when he ws placed in the custody of Laura Wooden, Supervisor of Child and Youth CO State Dept of Welfare for the purpose of adoption. All legal transactions were accepted by the Welch County Dept of Welfare and recorded on 11-10-1966.

All Other Information: I am the birth mother. I've never married. My birth son was born on 4-12-1967 at Mercy Medical Center, which is no longer in existence. Mercy was on 18th St. across from City Park at the time it was in existence. The adoption would have been handled through Catholic Charities, probably in Denver, CO. I remember that he weighed more than 8 lbs at birth and that he was a "blue" baby and needed extra medical help because our RH factors did not match. All of my medical help prior to his birth was handled through Catholic Charities at a clinic that was, at the time, located in what is now the Auraria Campus in Denver. Interns and Residents from various hospitals took care of all of the charity patients at this clinic--I had no specific doctor, but suffered from a severe iron deficiency during the pregancy and had to have several very painful shots during the pregnancy to ensure the baby's health. I was a very naive young girl with only a high school education and no job prospects at that point, but I knew that I could not bring a baby into my home with my parents--my mother was a raging alcoholic and my dad was abesent. I wanted my son to have a better life than the nightmare existence I had when I was growing up. I believed the only way to ensure that was to make sure that he had another home where the parents would be vetted by Catholic Charities so that he didn't end up in a situation as bad as I had grown up in. My birth date is 4-13-1947. He was born 1 day before my 20th birthday. I do not know the father's birth date. He was not in the picture during the pregnancy nor for the birth. He was in Denver as a US Navy seaman to study photography at Lowry Air Force Base in Aurora. He left the training here in Denver and eventually went AWOL from the Navy and went to So America. He eventually came back and was in a Navy brig for awhile I guess. I never heard from him after he was arrested. His family tried to contact me, but I didn't want anything to do with him or his family by that time. He and his family was from Ft. Smith, Arkansas. My family has some serious medical issues as we grow older and I want my birth son to know so that he can slow or stop the progress of some disease paths that I and my siblings seem to be suffering from.

I even had the fifth district congressmans wife and daughter do a search for me and found out nothing. Anything you can find would be greatly appreciated! I just had a very good friend re-united with her daughter after forty years using your site, so there is still hope!! (Update) The non-id information stated that my birth mother was 18, anglo, and protestant, and was successful in hiding her pregnancy until one week before she delivered me, except for one close friend. She confided in her father who wanted her to continue her education, and was said to be very supportive in the decision to relinquish me. It only stated that my birth mother was overweight and had dated my birth father for a short time before he was sent over sea's. It stated that although they corresponded for a couple of months, she never informed him of the pregnancy. At that time, birth fathers were not required to give up their rights, and so he never knew of me. She stated that he was 6'2, 210 pounds with sandy blonde hair and believed to be in good health. She stated that he was one of 11 children and that is all it states about him It goes on to say that my birth grandfather had six operations for stomach cancer, the last being ten years prior to my birth. He worked for a drilling company, and enjoyed flying his private plane in his spare time. My birth grandmother was heavy set and worked for a service base as a secretary/receptionist. She enjoyed sewing and baking. I had one maternal Aunt, who taught french and chemistry and had two children of her own. I was born at St. Josephs Hospital 7-24-1967 in Denver, Colorado. I was born with an intra-orbital mass between my eyes and some other health issues that resolved themselves over time. I was adopted once and brought back due to health issues, then placed in foster care.....these people wanted to adopt me, but at that time were considered to be to old. Margaret and Larry adopted me when I was approx one year old from Denver........they lived in Greeley at the time. When I was 18, I was informed by someone in AIS that she found out my birthname was "Baby girl Coleman"........never found out if that was the truth or not!.

All Other Information: I have been dealing with Colorado Confidential Mediary program for the last 3 + years, $2,300 later I was told last month that they were going to have to end my search because they believed that all of the information they had was false including the information on my birth certificate. So this is the information I gained thru my non-identifying info and what I learned from CIS. My birth mother was 24 a stewardess and a history major. My birth father was 26 and an accountant for the government. His first name was Kevin (found that out by accident). My maternal grandfather was a bank vice president and held a law degree. My paternal grandfather worked for the telephone co and was from the east. My birth mother had a brother 5 years younger and a sister that was 14 years younger. I believe that my name on my original birth certificate is Baby Girl Foley. There are 3 different names from my birth mother in my files. I believe that Barcelona is another name that is in my file. I had DNA testing with someone that the CIS believed was a birth aunt, we were not related. I do not have an original birth certificate # because in the state of Colorado that could be identifying. At the time of my birth, my birth mother was 21 years old. She had moved to Colorado 2 years earlier from New York. My maternal grandparents were killed in a car accident approximately 3 years before I was born. At the times their deaths, my grandmother would have been 47and my grandfather 49. At the time of their death, they lived in New York and owned and operated a vegetable company in New York. My material grandfather was of Jewish decent. My maternal grandmother was English, Irish, Scottish and Italian decent and was a Protestant. My birth mother had one older brother who was 24 when I was born. He was a high school graduate and attended 2 years of college before joining the military. My birth farther was 24 when I was born and a senior in college and was majoring in psychology.
