All Other Information: This is my mothers information and we have looked for her birth parents a couple of times. She passed away when we were young to cancer. My grandma did not tell us much about how the adoption took place other than to tell us the hospital had burned down and records did not exhist. We have found that this is not true as we did get a birth certificate from St. Valentines hospital. no birth parents were listed but her name, birth date, and footprints were there. Our father also passed away about 9 years ago so we are a family of 4 kids that would like to know our past relitives and very much need to know about past Ilnesses. there is already one case of MS and some back surgerys needed between us. My sister was stopped years ago from searching due to Idaho's supposedly having a sealed adoption law.

All Other Information: I am looking for my step mothers birth parents. She is in need of medical information as my step sister has been diagnosed with a seizure disorder and other health problems. Her adoptive mother stated Birth Mother (Alice Thomas) arrived at Elmore Memorial Hospital to give birth. Stated that she couldn't afford another child, as she had 6 or more other children at home. Mrs. Thomas supposedly told the nurse (adoptive mother) that she could adopt the baby in exchange for a winter coat. She stated that she was just "passing through" which may mean that her husband was in the military considering Mountain Home Airforce Base is located there. The hospital has stated that they do not have any records of the birth. No other information known.
