All Other Information: I was born to a German mother who told my adoptive parents her name was Franziska Schutzeneder. Her birth date (according to my adoption papers) was 8-5-1939, in Dingolfing, Germany. She was unmarried at the time of my birth. My birth father was said to be an American military man but no name was provided. She told my adoptive parents she had borne a daughter two years earlier. I searched many years ago with the help of a German officer, and learned that my birth mother had left Dingolfing for Munich in 5-?-1959. There was no record filed after that. I have been unable to locate anyone with that name or the surname of Schutzeneder in Germany since that search and do not know if she remained in Germany or left for the U.S. (which is what she told my adoptive parents she planned on doing). I am searching for my birth family, and truly want to learn if I have birth siblings. I am also hoping to learn something of who I am and pass that to my own children.
