All Other Information: Bea was born in a hospital. We heard that her birth parents were married, but that her birth mother died somehow related to her birth. We heard that the birth father had a poor relationship with his in-laws, and would not give the baby to them, and that he felt he was not able to adequately care for her. As an adult, Bea was obese and developed Type 2 Diabetes. She had a son diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, who died at the age of 42. After her adoptive mother died, Bea was given some information about her birth family, which had been kept by her adoptive family. Lightening struck her house, and it was 85% burned, and the papers she was given burned as well. Bea died in 2007, and in her address book, I saw a phone number for Spence Chapin, so I believe she tried to find information, but she told me she didn't learn about her birth family. I am Bea's niece. I have not posted anywhere else, nor have I tried to contact Spence Chapin. (Update) I do not have any information about her parent's ages, hair or eye color; however, Bea's hair was platinum as a child, and light brown>dark blond as an adult, and her eye's were blue. My father, who saw whatever papers my grandparents had been given, that were kept in the family safe, told me that she was of white, anglo-saxon heritege. She was not very tall....in an adoptive family of tall folks. I think she was 5'3"-5'4" tall as an adult.
