All Other Information: We are searching for my grandmother's birth mother or birth father. we know she was abandoned at 2 days old. her birth mother or birth father gave her wetnurse $10 and then left. The wetnurse's name is Juliet Nearbonne, and the midwife who delivered my grandma is Hirlanda Schneider. My grandmother's birth father wrote to her adopted parents to ask for a photo of his daughter. The letter he wrote came from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. This was written when my grandmother was a young girl, aprox between the ages of 1 and 5. (Update) Unfortunately, we don't know the age of her birth mother or birth father, nor the color of their eyes and hair. Marguerite's eyes were blue and hair dark brown. When she was young until a teenager, it was blond. Also, she was very fair skinned.

All Other Information: Obviously as you can see, I don't have much information, but need help. Thank you for any that you can give me. I'm looking for my half-brother. The only clues given me from my family: there was a son; his birth mother's name was Geraldine Rice; she came from Montana; she lived in Sheridan, MT; worked in an airplane factory in San Diego sometime between ?-?-1943 and ?-?-1945; when she found out she was pregnant, a friend dropped her off in Butte, Montana. I have found a Geraldine Rice Herzig (deceased) who was born in MT in ?-?-1923 and have contacted her daughter, Charlotte Williams (found in Geraldine's obit in the Columbia Basin Herald, Moses Lake, Washington State). Mrs. Williams knows nothing of a child being born before her birth in ?-?-1946. She did say that her mother was from Sheridan, MT and did work in an airplane factory in San Diego during WWII. My father (10-2-1916 to 5-31-2009), was known as Jim or Jimmie and was from the Black Hills of SD but moved to San Diego in the early ?-?-1940's. He worked in an airplane factory during that time. He was married. Geraldine was single. There aren't any full siblings. There are two known half-sisters (my sister Patricia B. ?-?-1946 and I b. ?-?-1938). If this Geraldine Rice is the correct one, due to the social stigma of the time, she may have stayed with relatives or gone to a Home for Unwed Mothers--possibly in Idaho where her father and mother were born. Possible other states--California and Missouri. I haven't posted on any other website at this time.

All Other Information: From my records I have learned that I was born in Butte, Montana. I would like to obtain a copy of my original birth certificate. My birth mother is deceased and is buried in Bisbee, Arizona. I have not been able to locate any information about my birth father other than his name. I would like to find out if I have any siblings. My court records indicate that there were other children. My birth mother and father did not stay together. He apparently left her in Butte and she returned to Bisbee. I would like to find my original birth certificate with possible to leads to who Robert H. Bevington was and where he went. My adoption was originated in Bisbee. My birth mother knew and asked the sheriff and his wife if they would be interested in adopting me. Their children were grown but they had become friends with the couple who would become my adoptive parents and knew they wanted to adopt. They contacted my adoptive parents who had returned to Texas to live. With my birth mother's permission, my adoptive parents returned to Arizona and claimed me. I came to Texas to live with them. My adoption was finalized in 1954 just after my birth mother was killed in a car accident. I have copies of court records, my birth mother's obituary, and some other information I have been able to locate. However, nothing found regarding my birth father and his whereabouts. I assume he is probably deceased by now.

All Other Information: My father and I are searching for his birth family. His adoptive parents adopted him as an infant, but we're not sure when and were surprised he had the same name on his original birth certificate when we obtained it (minus a mispelling of his middle name). His birth mother's address at the time is listed as McCormick Hotel c/o Rita Ronquillo. She was born in MT (25 at time of birth -- around 1928?) and birth father was born in WA (27 at time of birth - around 1926?). Birth mother's name is listed as Beverly Ruth Walker, but she signed the birth certificate, Ruth B Walker. My father has distinct looks: red hair, blue eyes, fair skin and is 6'4". Birth certificate listed one child living at the time of his birth. Many friends in Billings, MT have mistaken another man for my father (their looks are that simliar), so we're thinking maybe he has an older brother that looks just like him. People have seen this look- alike person in Absorkee, MT and Billings, MT. Adoptive parents are both deceased so we don't have any other information. An aunt says she remembers his birth mother as a tall red headed woman who worked as a waitress with my grandmother (his adoptive mother) in Billings. Not sure if this is a good memory or not. Thanks for any help, we've been searching and can't find much of anything. (Update) Birth mother ((FOUND))! Full name: Beverly Margaret De Lapp – married names, Martin, Lucero, Dimatteo. She died in 2005, but I’ve found some other family members and have been talking to them. I’m still searching for the birth father. Since I’ve found her, I have discovered that about most everything on the original birth certificate was false, so I’m assuming the information about the birth father is false, too. I received a picture from her sister of a potential birth father, and I’m looking into that information – she thinks his first name might have been Russell.
