The baby was born at home by a midwife and remained with the birth mother for approximately one month before being placed in a DES foster home for approx. three months. The baby returned with the birth mother for two weeks before going to stay with other family in another state. On March 2, 1979, the birth mother brought the baby to Phoenix Catholic Social Services to be adopted. Baby was adopted on 3/29/79. All Other Information: I am searching for my oldest daughter & her adopted parents. On September 27, 1979, approx. 7pm, I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl, weighing in at 7 lbs 4 oz. I was only 14 yrs old when I had her & I gave her up for adoption. I wanted her to have the life I was unable to give to her at that time. Abortion was never a consideration for me, I believed their was a purpose & a reason this baby was conceived.
