All Other Information: If this baby exists, she was stolen from her birth family and sold through a baby brokerage; and this would be a twin birth. Dr. John A Houck was the delivering doctor, assisted by his nurse Louella Muller. Both were later charged with baby brokering; and were killed together in a car wreck. Only in recent years have things come to light to suggest a twin may have been taken from the family. It is possible the baby was taken to BC Canada; as the doctor and nurse often went there clandestinely.

All Other Information: So far, I have no indication that a legal adoption took place. Hospital records state that I "left" the hospital on 12-22-1950. My adoptive mother said she brought me home on 12-24-1950. An elderly social worker said that gray market adoptions frequently took place in Baltimore until 1970. Over twenty years ago, I contacted the doctor that took over the practice from the doctor who delivered. His receptionist told me that the doctor of delivery took care of the women who did not keep their babies. I was asked to call back, but when I did, the doctor refused to talk to me. In the background I heard him say he didn't want to talk to me because that baby died. I stopped searching for years. (Update) I have brown curly hair and hazel eyes. My birth certificate says white, but all of the ancestry DNA tests says white (European) with a trace of Native American. My birth father might have been a "blonde" Puerto Rican. My birth mother might have been Barbara Jean Goodwin (maiden name) and 17 at the time of my birth, but I'm not sure about my birth parents. Barbara Jean had brown hair and blue eyes. She had two children from 2 different marriages: Robert E. Davies and Melanie Millhauser Bennet.

We believe that all information on his records has been falsified to cover-up his birth. He could possibly have ‘official’ looking records showing that he was not actually adopted but a biological son of the family who raised him.
