All Other Information: Birth mother was 16 years old at time of birth, was raised by grandmother Anna M. Hollis Long who lived at 9-C Brown homes at the time of my birth. Birth mother married Roy O'Neal carr in ?-?-1962, she did not let Roy Carr adopt me till I was 16 and only then because she couldn't hide info any longer because I was getting a driver's license and the DMV wouldn't let her use the Carr name for me unless it was done legally so she let Roy adopt me at that point. Grandmother died in ?-?-2001 didn't know or wouldn't tell me any info on my b-father, b-mother died in 5-?-2004 and never revealed any info, she did however give my sister a copy of the adoption decree and told her if anything ever happened to her to give it to me, she listed my father as un-known, my aunt patricia says the only name she can think my father would be is Larry Cummings who was in the army stationed at fort rucker Alabama but she said she isn't 100% sure as b-mom was very secretive. Adopted father doesn't know anything except that he loved me as one of his own and never questioned birth mom about my b-father. I was delivered by Dr. R.J. McLaughlin at Dale County Hospital in Ozark Ala on 10-15-1961. The adoption was handled by Judge William J. Snellgrove at the Dale County Court house in Ozark Alabama (judge is also dead)

I have a sister and brother who I found in ?-?-1991. Our names on our original birth certificates are me-Mischelle Verdeguel: Tonya Cherise Verdeguel: and James Arco Verdeguel. My sister was born 10-31-1961 and my brother was born 5-25-1966. We have found our birth father who died in ?-?-2001. My sister Tonya has been diagnosed with Acute Intermittent Porphyria and also has gone almost completely deaf from an immune disorder also thought to be inherited. David has been searching for his birth family since we met at the age of 16, 24 years ago. Birth mothers name is Dorothy Ann Moore she would be about 64 years of age now. Birth fathers first name may have been David as adoptees name given at time of birth was David Junior, birth fathers age is unknown. Birth Certificate #101-68-033953. Judgment and final decree of adoption 9-15-1978, by Pandoura LaRose Carpenter, Case No. A-3195. Montgomery, AL. Attorney: Emogene Austin / State Dept. Pensions and Security. The non-identifying info says that his bio mother and father met while in an Alabama state hospital, Bio Father received a diagnosis of depressive reactive disorder. Bio Father is said to have had Bronchitis when he was young, and a fall on a broom ruptured his testes, he attended school until the age of sixteen. He had been raised in out of home care. Bio Father admitted Paternity and offered to marry Bio mother. They lived together for a time but never married. He is described as a tall, heavyset man with broad shoulders and dark complexion. Bio mother was hospitalized from 1965 thru 2-1968 for pulmonary tuberculosis, Bio mother was discharged to her mother's home shortly before giving birth. David was delivered at home with a midwife attending, the midwife's name was Maude Starkey (address: Helena Alabama P.O. Box 172). Bio father was not on Birth Certificate. Mother was 21 years old at time of birth. She was 5'4" tall and weighed 125 pounds, coarse skin texture, black hair, and dark complexion with brown eyes. She worked as a domestic in a large Southern city. David's Maternal Grandmother was 39 years old at time of his birth. She is 5'5" tall and weighs 155 pounds, dark complexion with a round face, broad nose, and dark brown eye's, she also worked as a domestic. Bio mother has five half-siblings (it is said by four different fathers) four of the siblings entered foster care and were placed in the permanent custody of the agency in ?-?-1962. The maternal Grandmother had seven young children in addition to David in the home when the Department was contacted by police on 3-13-1973 about planning for David. They were unsupervised and another child pulled a pot of boiling water off the stove onto David, burning him on the face. On 10-11-1974 a petition to terminate parental rights was filed.
