All Other Information: My mother, Phyllis Knox Bradford, recently revealed she had given birth to a baby girl in the Crittenden Home near Lewes, Delaware or Snow Hill, MD, and that she stayed there until the baby was adopted, in 1934 or 1935. All Other Information: I am helping my mom search for the missing pieces of her life. My mom was born in Delaware, in a home for unwed mothers, which was run by Dr. Jerome D. Niles (black market doctor). My mom's adoption took place in Kings county New York. We have her amended birth certificate that her adoptive parent were given with their names on it, and her original BC which has her biological mothers name on it, however, we are not sure how true it is since it was supposedly a black market adoption. We even have the court paper in which the biological names match those on the BC. We have an old address for her mother (666 west end avenue) this was a holding place for babies that were waiting to be adopted and it was run by Betsy Bernard. we also have the occupation and age at the time of birth. The one MAIN thing we do not have is a description of her parents. Although we have ALL this other information, we are still up against a brick wall. A detailed description would be wonderful, but how do we go about getting it? Where do we send for it? Any information would be great. Thank you very much. Bye Jaime
