Adoptee Information: Rosario Vasquez (b/name) is my mother she is searching for Evaristo Vasquez he is my grandfather. Rosario thinks she is 68 years old; she has never seen her birth certificate. She was told that she has siblings ( one,a brother, had the nick name ''Eltrique'' ) and that her parents home was destoryed during a tropical storm in the early 1930's in Puerto Rico . At the time she was about 2 or 3 years old, that is when her birth parents took her to live with the Francisco Del Carmen Camacho family of Caguas PR. It was supposed to be temporary. The Camacho family changed her name to Rosalina Camacho and kept her. She remembers a woman with red hair and green eyes who came asking for her many times, each time the Camachos' said she was not there. She believes the woman was her birth mother. We do not know if she was '' legally adopted '' as her marriage licence names Francisco del Carmen Camacho as her Foster father. I once had a! picture of her(mother) standing next to her friend they where wearing 50's skirts it was black and white photo. I keep hiding it and finally she found it and tore it up. my father family had a bakery I think in humaco,pr. my real grandmother on my father side tomas morales (he has no middle name) committed suicide after 14 kids. my father's father drank alot but he lived really old to 90's. they always spoke spanish so wouldn;'t be able to know anything. Sometimes I feel like I was Kidnapped in 1957 and it all covered up with the adoption. My real father said our family originated in Spain and had to leave so they move to Puerto Rico. but I don't know how much is lies and How much is Truth. I just want to see my mom.

All Other Information: According to the Adoption Agency in Ponce, my adoptive parents were told that sometime in 10-?-1972, I was brought to a Hospital in Ponce and left there. They were told that I was given to someone in the waiting room and said "would you hold my baby I'll be right back". They never came back. The person holding me noticed a piece of paper pinned on my dress that said 7-4-1972. I was kept over night for observation as a Jane Doe because there was no name. There were no signs of physical abuse and was said be very healthy. According to the "investigation" that is required when abondment is involved there were no records of a baby girl born on 7-4-1972. Some speculate that I wasn't born in a hospital. I'm looking for anyone that has any information. Perhaps hospital staff, people in the waiting area that day, or anyone that may have been involved.
