All Other Information: Biological father was in military aboard a ship in port of Seward, Alaska in 10-?-1945 or 11-?-1946. He was possibly a cook in military. He shipped out before mother discovered pregnancy - he was later aware of the pregnancy and indicated he did not wish to be a part of the event. His ship may have been in the port of Seward for Navy Day Celebrations in 1945. My grandfather was the Mayor of Seward, Alaska at this time and his wife & daughters helped in USO. Evidently my mother really got involved with at least one sailor :) Photo of George is available. Adopted baby was raised in Arkansas after the 4th year. Biological mother had excellent relationship with adoptive parents when located in 1971. She was like a favorite aunt to me, the adopted baby. She could not recall the surname of my birth father - had blocked it from her memory. She kept a photo of him which she gave to me. Biological mother and adoptive parents are deceased
