All Other Information: My birth certificate says my birth mother's address was rural-Ewa Qtrs.426 Lexington Ave.barber's Point Honolulu, HI adoption proceeding #7229 on 12-30-1952. The judge was Gerald R Corbett, it was a private adoption and the lawyer was Betty Vitousek P.O. Box #494 Honolulu, HI. Child & Family Services placed me in my adoptive parents care on 6-21-1952 James Naka My birth father was supposedly in the Navy and my birth mother was Japanese. My adoptive father was stationed at Barber's point in the Coast Guard and my adoptive mother saw a picture of me in the local newspaper walking into the orphanage carrying a stuffed animal and she said that is why she wanted to adopt me. I stayed there until they took me home for a trial stay. We heard that the orphanage burned down. My adotive parents are now deceased and my adoptive sisters had some of the letters that my birth mother wrote after I was adopted. They also had the article showing me going into the orphanage in Hawaii. I do not have contact with them now so I never obtained that information. (Update) Jeff's height is 5'7" tall, he has brown eyes and his hair was black (pretty gray now as he is 60 years old!). He is 165 lbs. He was 5 lbs ,13 oz at birth. We have the birth certificate and some information from the orphanage that was given to the adoptive parents. We also have a few pictures from baby and looks like around 3 years old.
