My name is Carol Crowley and I have a foster son who is slightly developmentally challenged that has been looking for his natural brother for years. I got Jimmy right around his 13th birthday, I believe. Jimmy's birth date is 2-23-1961. He had a younger brother, Robert Allan Crane, DOB 2-7-1973, who we believe was adopted by his foster parents somewhere in eastern Snohomish County (Granite Falls, Sultan, Gold Bar). The state believed that Robbie was "normal", whatever that is. Their parents name was Ray and Cora Crane. Cora was put in a group home for "retarded" adults. She is still alive and is now classified as "schizophrenic". Jimmy was unable to locate her for 25 years. I finally found her about three years ago after great difficulty supposedly due to the "privacy act". Jimmy will be 42 this month and would love to find his brother. There was a woman who lived on the Jim Creek Road in Arlington that was going to assist me in this search once, and them Jimmy took off and so I did not pursue it. Now I have no idea who she is or how to get in contact with her. I was never told the name of the foster parents and Jimmy doesn't remember. But any assistance that you could give me would be wonderful. I do know that Robbie was born in Everett, Washington at Everett General Hospital. Ray, the father, was a decorated World War 11 veteran, but had many mental problems I am sure from the war. He died in ?-?-1993 and I believe he was about 73 years old then. I think that Cora is about 66 or 67. Her health has been failing. I know that she would enjoy seeing Robbie. Please contact me if you can help me in any way to locate him.
