All Other Information: I am searching for birth mother who became pregnant at age 15-1/2 in ?-?-1960 and made arrangements for my adoption immediately upon disovering pregnancy. Birthmother turned 16 before I was born. I was told that Maternal Birth Grandmother took Birth Mother to England to give birth to me. I am White and believe Birth Mother probably is also. I do not know if pregancy was result of consentual or criminal actions. I also do not know if I was born in hospital or with midwife out of hospital. I was less than 1 year old when adopted but did spend several months at St. Mary's Episcopal Home for Children In Providence, RI waiting for a family to adopt me. The papers for my surrender to the home were done before I was born, but not the adoption itself. That is why I spent a few months at the home. Adoptive family lived in Rumford, RI and then to nearby Massachusetts for my schooling. I have very little information but the non-identifying items that were sent to me from the home. That did not amount to much. Adoptive parents are now both deceased. Birth Mother would be age 64 (in 2009) if still alive. No information is known about Birth Father. Please help me obtain information.

My mother married Gary Gordon Godman in 1972. I have a court order delayed registration of birth dated 7-21-1980. Abstract of supporting evidence reads "Court Order 1912, Superior Court, Shasta. I was told the adoption record is sealed, although I don't know why. My father's name is not listed on my original or delayed birth certificates.
